General
Our goal is a satisfied customer 100% of the time. However, we know that you can never please all of the people all of the time. mistakes do occur. so here's the technical and/or legal "stuff".
Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice. The Gifting Source has no liability in the case of orders arising from typographical errors and reserves the right to cancel any orders without assigning any reasons. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of information listed and The Gifting Source is not responsible for any errors contained therein.
Shipping Charges & Tax
Total Shipping & Tax can be viewed before final commit to the order by entering your shipping details on order page. Shipping also includes handling charges (packaging, etc.).
We ship only to addresses that can be verified by your credit card company. (Their rules. not ours. sorry.)
The Gifting Source will not be personally liable for any damage (including shipping), loss, fault or expenses arising out of delays in shipment or other non-performance of this Agreement caused due to: *Acts of customer; *Governmental action; *Strikes, fires, disasters, riots, Acts of God; or Any other cause or condition beyond the reasonable control of The Gifting Source. In the event of any such delay or non-performance, we will not be responsible for the delay in delivery by selected service. In the event of a delay, the Customer Service Department will track the order.
The accuracy of the address is the responsibility of the cardholder. We reserve the right to cancel any approved orders that have different billing information and shipping information. Please visit the Order Information section for further detail.
Address corrections that are made while in transit or after delivery to a wrong address will be charged to the purchaser's credit card as we incur charges from the shipping company for this service. Refused or undeliverable shipments will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, in addition to applicable shipping fees, insurance fees, and any losses incurred by us. You are responsible for all other fees and / or charges inclusive but not limited to reroute fees, any customs, duties, sales, use, value added, excise, federal, state, local or other taxes, unless stated otherwise on the invoice.
International Orders - We do not accept International orders currently.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards including Visa / Master Card. There will be no surcharge for the use of credit cards.
Security & Privacy Practices
Your orders are always processed through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, which is far more secure than traditional point-of-sales transactions like handing your credit card to a waiter at a restaurant. When you shop with The Gifting Source, your information is protected at all times. We will only use your private information for internal purposes such as processing your order or providing customer service. We never sell or release customer information except where required by law.
Collection Fees
Customer agrees to pay all collection fees, including attorney's fee and accounting costs, if such are required.
Cancellation, Refunds, Returns & Replacement Policy
Once the order is placed it can be cancelled only if shipment has not occurred. If shipment has taken place and you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item with prior approval of our customer service department within 30 days in re-saleable condition for a full refund (less shipping costs). If the items received are in any way damaged or faulty, we will replace them without charge upon return receipt. Certain items have individual warrantees. if you are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer service department and allow us to "make it right".
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
All claims for shortage, manufacturers' defects, shipment error, incompatibility, or incorrectly ordered merchandise must be made within Thirty (30) calendar days after the invoice date, and are valid only with approval from our customer service department.
Please e-mail us at: orders@thegiftingsource.com or call (814) 449-9077 for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA #) and ship fully insured with freight charges prepaid. Returns without an RMA # and a copy of the original receipt will not be accepted. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days. All return products must be received by The Gifting Source within the period stated. A copy of the invoice must be included in the package. We reserve the option to accept or reject non-defective returns. All Merchandise returned must be in good working order with all the original packing. Items returned in used or altered condition will not be accepted.
You will be solely responsible for paying all return freight costs and insurance either defective or non-defective merchandise. It is recommended that all returns be made via a traceable carrier such as UPS or Certified Mail as The Gifting Source is not responsible for items that are misdirected or lost in shipment. We do not accept any shipments without a valid RMA. We reserve the right to return to you any non-defective merchandise or any merchandise that does not match the invoice. You will be responsible for all related charges such as shipping, insurance, and handling fees on this matter. We reserve the right to issue credits or refunds in exchange for returned merchandise, or to replace merchandise.
All credits will be issued within 15 business days once we confirm that this is the only solution to solve your return. All non-defective merchandise returns are subject to a twenty percent (20%) restocking fee or current market value at The Gifting Source' discretion. All non-product related fees such as shipping, transaction, payment processing, and insurance are not refundable. Our liability shall be limited to the invoiced value of the merchandise or its replacement.
Defective Products
Defective products will be accepted for replacement or repair, at our discretion, within 30 days from the invoice date. Our customer support department prior to issuing a return authorization must deem a defective product so. If merchandise arrives damaged, it is best to refuse it back to the carrier attempting delivery. If you accept the package make sure it is noted on the carrier's delivery record in order for us to file a damage claim. Save the merchandise in the original box and packing it arrived in, notify us immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection and pick up of damaged merchandise. If you do not notify The Gifting Source of damaged goods within the first 7 days of arrival, our regular return policy will override any claim of damage, and will fall under all current restrictions. Claims are valid only subject to approval from Shipping Carrier.
Warranty Information policy
All warranties begin from the date of invoice. Original Invoice must be required for all warranty service by The Gifting Source. Merchandise must be returned in original condition including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and accessories. No warranty by The Gifting Source shall apply to any merchandise, which have been modified or damaged by the customer. Merchandise that is defective due to misuse, neglect, or improper handling is not covered under the warranty.
